President

Stephanie Gilbert is the founder and current president of Hopkins Heroes. With over 30 years of residency in St. Cloud, Florida, Stephanie has deep roots in the community and a long-standing passion for service. A proud St. Cloud resident, Stephanie has become a familiar face to many, known not only for her tireless volunteerism but also for her dedication to making her hometown a better place for all. Through Hopkins Heroes, she continues to inspire others and foster a culture of hope and resilience in Osceola County.

Treasurer & Strategic Programs Director

Eunice Torres brings her expertise in operations, marketing, creative and community engagement to her role at Hopkins Heroes. As Treasurer, she upholds the organization's financial integrity and transparency while providing strategic leadership that drives impactful community programs. With a background in business development and strategy, Eunice blends decision-making with heart-led service-building trust, expanding visibility, and amplifying the mission through authentic storytelling and partnership-focused initiatives.

Secretary

Kate McClinton is an experienced educational leader with over 20 years of work across K–12

and higher education, dedicated to building stronger communities through education,

leadership, and service. She brings expertise in strategic planning, instructional coaching, and

programming development, with a proven track record of leading initiatives that expand

opportunities for youth and families.

Throughout her career, Kate has partnered with schools, nonprofits, and community

organizations to design and implement programs that center equity, engagement, and long-term

impact. She has secured grant funding, led leadership development efforts, and supported

innovative learning experiences that empower young people to thrive.

As a board member and secretary of Hopkins Heroes, Kate is committed to advancing the

organization’s mission by strengthening partnerships, supporting community-driven

programming, and helping create meaningful opportunities for connection and growth. She is

passionate about investing in the St. Cloud community and ensuring all youth have access to

the support and resources they need to succeed.

Fundraising Director 

Kira is a trusted advocate for the community, known for building meaningful partnerships and shared purpose. Her deep commitment to community is reinforced by a belief that strong organizations are built by listening first. Her experience in community-based non-profits reflects a focus on connection, inclusion, and long-term strength. Drawing on her background as a local business owner, wellness entrepreneur, author, and international speaker, Kira contributes insight grounded in care, balance, and real-world impact. This work has shown that strong collaboration, curiosity, and new ideas in service of a more connected and impactful future are what drives success and she eagerly brings that to her work.

Social Media

Debbie serves as the Social Media Liaison for Hopkins Heroes. She has worked in the news industry throughout much of her life, with a meaningful break to raise her three amazing kids. With a strong background in communication and a genuine love for connecting with people and telling their stories, this volunteer role is a natural fit for her. Debbie looks forward to helping advance the message of Hopkins Heroes’s work to make St. Cloud a great place to live and thrive.
